C venues conditions of entry and ticket sale

1. Tickets are sold subject to the right of the management to make any alteration to the advertised programme, cast, company or timings due to circumstances beyond its or the presenter’s control, without being obliged to refund monies or exchange tickets.

2. Once sold, tickets may not be refunded, however exchanges may be carried out at the discretion of the Box Office Manager. If the value of the new transaction is be less than that of the initial transaction the difference may be forfeit. If the value of the next transaction is more than the initial transaction the difference must be paid.

3. Every member of the audience must be in possession of a valid ticket, which must be produced to gain entry to the theatre. Babes in arms may be admitted without a ticket as long as they do not occupy a seat during the performance, instead remaining on the lap of their parent or guardian for the duration.

4. Concession card holders should present their concession cards on booking and collection of tickets and may be asked for their concession cards on entry to the performance space. The management may refuse admission if concession eligibility cannot be proved on entry.

5. The management reserve the right to refuse admission and to require patrons to undergo a search. If a patron behaves in a violent or obnoxious manner or in a way that the management consider may cause danger or discomfort to others, the management can require that the patron leaves the venue and will take appropriate action to enforce this right.

6. The use of recording or photography equipment of any kind is prohibited. Unauthorised recordings will be confiscated and cancelled. We would ask that all electronic devices, including mobile phones, must be switched off before you enter the theatre.

7. The management can accept no responsibility for the loss of any personal property. Any lost property handed into the venue shall be held at reception.

8. We sell tickets as an agent of the party presenting the production. Further information on the party presenting each production can be sought from the box office manager.

9. Telephone and internet bookings are subject to distance selling regulations and as such may have a cooling off period. If you have a query about how these apply to an advanced telephone or internet booking please contact the box office manager.

10. Tickets may be restricted to a maximum number per person. The management reserve the right to cancel tickets purchased in excess of this number.

11. If tickets are resold or transferred for profit or commercial gain by anyone other than the venue management, producer or one of their authorised sub-agents, then they will become void and the holder may be refused entry or ejected from the venue.

12. If a performance is cancelled or abandoned less than half way through, ticket holders will be offered alternative performances (subject to availability) up to the seat value on the ticket, or a full refund. If a performance is abandoned more than half way through, ticket holders will be offered an appropriate partial refund.

13. Where possible, the management will attempt to admit latecomers if and when a suitable break in the performance occurs but late admission cannot be guaranteed.

14. These conditions shall be governed by English Law.
