Flamenco Flamenco
Fringe favourite Ricardo Garcia has travelled to four continents, demonstrating the art of Flamenco music, rhythm and dance. Influenced by jazz, blues, Indian, Arabic and African music. This international celebration of Flamenco is sponsored by the Spanish Embassy. Now a regular in the Royal Albert Hall’s Ignite series, Ricardo celebrates over 11 years at the Fringe. ‘Garcia delivers his beautiful compositions so naturally that it seems his guitar is an extension of his body. His compositions range from high-spirited to melancholy.’ NYTheatre.com. ‘Fascinating, high-octane, contemporary flamenco. Ace!<’ Guardian. ‘Striking, dramatic… knife-sharp… simply a stunner’ Argus. ★★★★★ ThreeWeeks.
